हिन्दू, धर्म या जीवन पद्धति ?

इसे समझने के लिए हमें इन तीनों शब्दों को समझना आवश्यक है :

1. हिन्दू

2. धर्म, और

3. जीवन पद्धति।

1. हिन्दू : यहां हिन्दू से तात्पर्य 'वैदिक सनातन धर्म' से है। कालांतर में वैदिक सनातन धर्म को ही 'हिन्दू धर्म' नाम से संबोधित किया गया।

और सनातन धर्मी हिन्दू कहलाये। मात्र नाम बदलने से गुण-धर्म कैसे बदल जायेगा? नाम में आप कुछ भी कह लीजिये।

रंगी को 'नारंगी' कहे, नकद माल को 'खोया'।

चलती को 'गाड़ी' कहे, दास कबीरा रोया ।।

हिन्दू भावना या हिन्दू होने का भाव 'हिन्दुत्व' कहलाता है।

2. धर्म : धर्म को समझने से पहले स्पष्ट कर दें कि 'धर्म' और अंग्रेजी भाषा के 'Religion' दोनों अलग अर्थ वाले शब्द हैं। अंग्रेजी में Religion का अर्थ मत, पंथ या सम्प्रदाय है। जबकि 'धर्म' का अर्थ इससे अधिक व्यापक है।

धर्म एक संस्कृत शब्द है। ध + र् + म = धर्म। संस्कृत धातु 'धृ' - धारण करने वाला, पकड़ने वाला। 'धारयति- इति धर्म:' अर्थात जो धारण करने योग्य है, वही धर्म है।

यतो ऽभ्युदयनिःश्रेयससिद्धिः स धर्मः। - वैशेषिकसूत्र 1/1/2

जिससे यथार्थ उन्नति (आत्म बल) और परम् कल्याण (मोक्ष) की सिद्धि होती है, वह धर्म है। (ध्यान दें, मोक्ष का सिद्धांत केवल और वैदिक सनातन धर्म में ही मिलता है, अन्यत्र नहीं)

धर्म का सामान्य अर्थ 'गुण' होता है। द्रव्यों के अपने गुण होते हैं, जैसे आग और पानी का अपना गुण है।

इस प्रकार कुल 9 द्रव्य (पृथ्वी, जल, तेज़, वायु, आकाश, काल, दिशा, आत्मा और मन।) बताए गए है, संसार में सभी दृश्य अथवा अदृश्य वस्तुओं की संरचना इन्ही द्रव्यों से है।

"पृथिव्यापस्तेजो वायुराकाशं कालो दिगात्मा मन इति द्रव्याणि।"

मनुस्मृति में धर्म के दस लक्षण बताए गए हैं :

धृति: क्षमा दमोऽस्‍तेयं शौचमिन्‍द्रियनिग्रह:।

धीर्विद्या सत्‍यमक्रोधो दशकं धर्मलक्षणम्‌।। - मनुस्‍मृति 6/52

धृति (धैर्य), क्षमा, दम (हमेशा संयम से धर्म में लगे रहना), अस्तेय, शौच,

इन्द्रिय निग्रह, धी (सत्कर्मों से बुद्धि को बढ़ाना), विद्या (यथार्थ ज्ञान लेना), सत्य और अक्रोध।

याज्ञवल्क्य स्मृति ने 9 लक्षण गिनाए हैं :

अहिंसा सत्‍यमस्‍तेयं शौचमिन्‍द्रियनिग्रह:।

दानं दमो दया शान्‍ति: सर्वेषां धर्मसाधनम्‌।। - याज्ञवल्क्य स्मृति 1/122

अहिंसा, सत्य, चोरी न करना (अस्तेय), शौच (स्वच्छता), इन्द्रिय-निग्रह (इन्द्रियों को वश में रखना), दान, संयम (दम), दया एवं शान्ति।

इसी प्रकार श्रीमद्भगवतपुरण में सातवें स्कंध के 11वें अध्याय में श्लोक 8 से 12 तक में धर्म के 30 लक्षण बताए गए हैं।

वास्तव में, सम्पूर्ण विश्व में 'धर्म' की श्रेणी में वैदिक सनातन धर्म को छोड़ कर कोई अन्य तो 'धर्म' होने की शर्तों को भी पूरा नहीं करते।

3. जीवन पद्धति : जीवन पद्धति का अर्थ है जीने का तरीका या जीवन दर्शन। 

किस प्रकार का जीने का तरीका?

 

एक स्वस्थ समाज के निर्माण के लिए समाज के प्रत्येक इकाई में ऊपर बताए गए धर्म के लक्षण तो होने ही चाहिए, इससे तो असहमत नहीं हुआ जा सकता।

समाज परिवार से ही शुरू होता है, आप से शुरू होता है।

यदि एक परिवार में लाड़-प्यार से एक जीव को पाल-पोस कर त्योहार के रूप में काट कर खा जाएं तो हे राम! उस परिवार में बाल-बच्चों की मानसिक दशा क्या होगी? वह किस प्रकार के समाज का निर्माण करेंगे? हालांकि अहिंसा का अर्थ यह नहीं है कि कायर बन कर बैठ जाएं

लेकिन निर्बल, अबोध पर हिंसा कौन सी वीरता दर्शाएगी? यह निःसंदेह पाप की श्रेणी में आता है।

निष्कर्ष :

हिन्दू या वैदिक सनातन निःसंदेह 'धर्म' है और यह 'धर्म' ही 'जीवन जीने की पद्धति' है।

इससे यह भी स्पष्ट होता है कि 'धर्म' बदला नहीं जा सकता, धर्म तो 'ऋत' है। ऋत का अर्थ है – जो सहज है, स्वाभाविक है, जिसे आरोपित नहीं किया गया है। जो अंतस है आपका, आचरण नहीं। जो आपकी प्रज्ञा का प्रकाश है, चरित्र की व्यवस्था नहीं।

इस स्वाभाविक धर्म से अलग बाकी सब अपने-अपने मत, पंथ या सम्प्रदाय ही हैं।

हां, लेकिन आप Religion को बदलने के लिए स्वतंत्र हैं क्योंकि मत, पंथ और समुदाय या सम्प्रदाय को चुनना तो आपके मानसिक स्थिति और विवेक के ऊपर निर्भर करता है।

Diyas always lighten up in the direction of Vastu. Where protection is needed. Deepak Agni is used the form of Aarti.

The importance of Diyas are not only limited to Adhyatmik or Dharmik it has also been one of the most important pillars of our economy. Since ancient times people are using Clay pots, Diyas and other items made from soil.

Pottery has been a very foundation occupation of our society. The work and place of Kumhar(who makes items from Soil) has been very important for us. It has always been there in the mainstream economy.

But sadly such occupations are being targetted. those who have strengthened our nation and society are being neglected today.

If we don't stand up for them today then they will be vanished and who knows what will be their next target?
